PICKUP We pick up end-of-life electronics from most counties in Florida.  There is no charge for this service.  You can fill out  a pickup request or call 813-512-6998. We pick up from businesses and residents (limited).

HARD DRIVE SHREDDING. All data is destroyed by a the specialized hard drive shredding machine. Our shredder will shred solid state drives (SSDs) as well as rotary hard drives. The dual-head cutting chamber can shred SSDs to 3/8 inches and rotary drives to be shred to 1.5-inches wide. 

Is degaussing your choice?  Our Degausser is V91Max High Energy HDD & Tape Degausser, designed for the complete erasure of today’s high coercivity hard drives up to 2TB. Often used for the military services along with shredding.

CONFIRMATION Certification of Data Destruction is available upon request for no charge.  This request should be in the original pickup request.  Data destruction can take up to 36 – 48 hours.  Please make sure we have an email address for this certification.

99% RECYCLING We will recycle all the electronics that are picked up or dropped off.  We do not repair or refurbish.  The electronics we handle are dismantled and sorted for recovery of metals and plastics for new products.  Urban E Recycling is an electronic scrap company. A ‘Transfer of Responsibility’ certificate is available at pickup.
