What an amazing service that I happened upon accidentally. Was searching online for a way to recycle my old computer, and this company popped up. I love that they will even come get your computer, though it wasn’t necessary in my case. They charge nothing and wouldn’t even let me tip them. Pickup

PICKUP We pick up end-of-life electronics from Tampa Bay and surrounding counties. There is no charge for this service. You can fill out a pickup request or call 813-501-9346. We pick up from businesses and residents.

Data Destruction

HARD DRIVE SHREDDING All data is destroyed by a the AMS-300HD SSD Shredder. Our shredder will shred solid state drives (SSDs) as well as rotary hard drives. The dual-head cutting chamber can shred SSDs to 3/8 inches and rotary drives to be shred to 1.5-inches wide. DEGAUSSING Degaussing is another choice at the customer’s request. Our Degasser is V91Max High Energy HDD & Tape Degausser, designed for the complete erasure of today’s high coercivity hard drives up to 2TB.

Certification of Data Destruction

CONFIRMATION Certification of Data Destruction is available upon request for no charge. This request should be in the original pickup request. Data destruction can take up to 36 hours. Please make sure we have an email address for this certification.

Recycling

100% RECYCLING We will recycle all the electronics that are picked up or dropped off. We do not repair or refurbish. The electronics we handle are dismantled and sorted for recovery of metals and plastics for new products. Urban E Recycling is an electronic scrap company. A ‘waive of responsibility’ certificate is available.
